Bruce has the experience, skills, and maturity to provide leadership that will benefit Brewster.
Problem Solver: Bruce served as an IBM computer systems architect for over 40 years. His job was solving large, complex problems for clients like NASA, Department of Defense, Boeing, CNN, the National Hockey League, and others.
Experienced Leader: Bruce is president of two local organizations, an active team member in many others, and believes in “paying it forward.”
Team Player and Collaborator: Bruce has worked on teams for decades and knows that is the best way to find the best solutions.

As a Board member of the Brewster Ponds Coalition, Bruce is committed to protecting Brewster’s water resources.
Bruce participated in Brewster’s inaugural Civics Academy, learning first-hand about the efficiency and effectiveness and of Brewster’s government.
As past Vice Chair of Brewster’s Energy & Climate Action Committee, Bruce aimed to increase the Town’s use of clean energy and reduce energy costs.
As President of the Rosemary Tracy Community Association, Bruce collaborates with neighbors to improve the water quality of Seymour Pond.
As a member of the Brewster Ladies’ Library Finance Committee and Library Volunteer, Bruce supports a highly valued community asset.
As President of the Barnstable County Amateur Radio Club, Bruce leads an organization committed to the ongoing education of its members and emergency communications.
As a Fix-It Coach for the Brewster Waste Reduction & Recycling Commission, Bruce helps residents save money by repairing broken items that would otherwise be thrown away.
As an Election Worker in Brewster, Bruce takes part in ensuring the safety of our election process and its results.
As a construction volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, Bruce works with a team to create much-needed housing.
As a past volunteer with the Mass Audubon Diamondback Turtle Monitoring program, Bruce protected local species that are risk.
As a guest speaker at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Bruce takes part in a STEM program designed to help guide young people as they consider their future careers.

Bruce holds 17 US patents, demonstrating decades of creative technological innovation and the ability to work effectively with colleagues to achieve goals.
As a committed environmental advocate, Bruce composts in his garden, has a microclover lawn, gets his electricity from solar panels, and volunteers for events like Beautify Brewster.
Bruce loves life in Brewster, especially walking the flats and biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail.

MORE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES
Brewster has made great progress in expanding housing: Brewster Woods, Serenity, and soon-to-be Spring Rock Village. More work is needed to keep the town thriving.
BUILDING CONSENSUS TO CREATE BREWSTER’S FUTURE
Brewster is well-known for using public engagement to guide important decisions and plans. Bruce has extensive experience in building consensus toward shared goals.
RESPECTFUL COLLABORATION
Town government works best when residents are engaged, voicing their views and listening respectfully to others. Bruce has years of experience collaborating thoughtfully with others.
